Abigail5 Whitney (David4, Joseph3, John2, Henry1), daughter of David4 and Elizabeth (Hyatt) Whitney, was born 3 Apr 1754, Norwalk, CT,[1] and died 22 Sep 1834, Five Mile River, Norwalk, CT, aged 81 years.
She married, 6 Jul 1775, Five Mile River, Norwalk, CT, John Reed,[2] son of John Reed. He was born 29 Dec 1754, Five Mile River, Norwalk, CT, and died 19 Dec 1825, Five Mile River, Norwalk, CT.
Phoenix says the following:
- ... a mechanic .... They settled at Five Mile River .... He was a soldier in the Revolutionary war.
