Abraham7 Whitney (Abraham6, Abraham5, Abraham4, Moses3, Richard2, John1), son of Abraham6 and Sarah (Conant)(Jewell) Whitney, was born 18 Sep 1806, Waterford, ME, and died 25 Nov 1887, Waltham, MA.

Marriage intentions were published 21 Feb 1830, Methuen, MA, for him and Mary Ann Hopkins "of Waltham".[1] Marriage intentions were published 25 Feb 1830, Waltham, MA, for him "of Methuen" and Mary Ann Hopkins.[2] He "of Methuen" married, 29 Mar 1830, Lowell, MA, Mary Ann Hopkins "of Waltham".[3] She was born 18 Sep 1808, Milford, NH, and died 19 Apr 1881, Chicago, IL.

He was born in Waterford, ME, to which place his parents had moved from Stow, MA. He was united in marriage to his wife at St. Ann's church, Lowell, MA, by the rector. After residing in Lowell, he moved to Waltham, MA. He resided New Gloucester, ME, and Waltham, MA.

iii. Mary A. Whitney, b. 15 May 1840, Waltham, MA;[7] resided 3 Mt. Vernon St., Boston, MA.
iv. Adaline Peabody Whitney, b. -----; m. 4 Oct 1877, Waltham, MA, Thomas S. Chase, b. ca. 1844, Buffalo, NY, son of William and Mary (-----) Chase;[8] resided s. p. 534 North State St., Chicago, IL.
v. John Howard Whitney, b. 18 Nov 1845, Waltham, MA;[9] d. 21 Sep 1869, Waltham, MA, aged 24 years 10 months, of disease of the brain;[10] m. 21 Jun 1869, Waltham, MA, Carrie A.
