Albert Gallatin7 Whitney (Jonathan6, Peter5, Josiah4, Josiah3, [prob.] Benjamin2, John1), son of Jonathan6 and Zylpah (Holt) Whitney, was born 27 Jul 1817, Tunbridge, VT, and died 30 Jan 1901, Tunbridge, VT, aged 83 years, of organic heart disease.[1]

He married firstly, 19 May 1844, Northfield, VT, Adaline D. M. Leonard.[2] She was born about 1823, and died 19 Aug 1859.

He married secondly, 24 Oct 1866, Worcester, VT, Wealthy Connor. She was born 8 Jul 1841, and died 8 Jul 1872.

He resided s. p. on a farm in Bethel, VT.

Albert Gallatin7 and Adaline (Leonard) Whitney had no children.

Albert Gallatin7 and Wealthy (Connor) Whitney had no children.

Notes

He was named for Albert Gallatin, a Swiss-American ethnologist, linguist, politician, diplomat, congressman, and the longest-serving United States Secretary of the Treasury.
