Alfred Langdon10 Whitney (Sylvester9, Amos8, Amos7, Ephraim6, Nathaniel5, Nathaniel4, Nathaniel3, John2, John1), son of Sylvester9 and Anna Marie (Fiske) Whitney, was born 22 Jan 1848, Upton, MA,[1] and died after 1895.

He married, 2 Sep 1895, Upton, MA, Nellie Frances Packard, of Monson, ME,[2] daughter of Sylvester and Ann (-----) Packard.[3] She was born about 1862, Monson, ME.

They lived in Upton and at 83 Appleton St., Boston, MA. He was a machinist.

i. (son)11 Whitney, b. 10 Oct 1896, Boston, MA.[4]
ii. Esther May Whitney, b. 11 May 1899, Upton, MA.[5]
ii. Ruth F. Whitney, b. 4 Jul 1901 [given name omitted], Upton, MA;[6] d. 20 Apr 1906, Upton, MA, aged 4 years 9 months 16 days, of accidental injury to brain.[7] She was buried in Lakeview Cemetery, Upton, MA.
