Family:Whitney, Byron LeRoy (1848-1934)

Byron LeRoy⁸ Whitney (Caleb Boyington⁷, Amaziah⁶, Abner⁵, John⁴, Isaiah³, Thomas², John¹), son of Caleb Boyington⁷ and Adocia (Stevens) Whitney, was born 3 Jul 1848, Lake Co., IL, and died 6 Sep 1934, Prescott, AZ.

He married firstly, 2 Dec 1871, LaSalle Co., IL, Charlotte Oness, daughter of John Sr. and Harriet (Granger) Oness. She was born about 1851, NY, and died 8 Dec 1929, Canton, IL. There was apparently a separation, since in 1880 she was living separately under her maiden name, but in 1885 the family was reunited, and three more children were born. Between 1887 and 1894, they were apparently divorced.

He married secondly, 3 Oct 1894, Beebe, AR, Delilia Elizabeth "Lizzie" Baldwin. She was born 23 Dec 1869, Spiceland, IN, and died 27 Jul 1932, Beebe, AR. There must have been a divorce between them, too, as she married secondly between 1910 and 1920, Peter Pope.

He married thirdly, 13 Dec 1905, Poplar Bluff, MO, Della Mae Kelly, daughter of Joseph Lafayette and Lydia Ann "Annie" (Duncan) Kelly. She was born Oct 1884, Wayne Co., MO, or Missouri City, Fort Bend Co., TX, and died about 1914, Maricopa Co., AZ.

He resided Bloomington, IL.
