Charles7 Whitney (Isaac6, Abner5, Jonas4, Eleazer3, Thomas2, John1), son of Isaac6 and Polly (Fairbanks) Whitney, was born 6 Nov 1822, Springfield, VT,[1] and died 27 Feb 1909, Pepperell, MA, aged 86 years 3 months 21 days, of senile debility.[2]

He married, 21 Oct 1847, Pepperell, MA, Achsah Hall, dau. of Joshua and Taphenas (Woods) Hall.[3]. She was born Sep 1820, MA, and died 28 Apr 1905, East Pepperell, MA, aged 84 years 7 months 19 days, of senile debility.[4]

i. Emily M.8 Whitney, b. 28 Feb 1850, Pepperell, MA;[5] d. aft. 1900, then unmarried.
ii. Susan Prescott Whitney, b. 14 Jan 1853, Pepperell, MA;[6] m. 28 Feb 1878, Pepperell, MA, Arnold F. Miner, b. ca. 1846, Dorchester, NH, son of James M. and Orrinda S. (French) Miner.[7]
iii. Achsah Frances Whitney, b. 1857, Pepperell, MA; d. 1914, Pepperell, MA; m. 16 Nov 1880, Pepperell, MA, Edgar Willis Blake, b. ca. 1850, Pepperell, MA, son of Henry and Martha A. (-----) Blake.[8]
