(Smith) Whitney, was born about 9 Jun 1846, Bristol, VT, and died 5 Dec 1887, Adams, MA, aged 41 years 5 months 26 days, of intestinal obstruction.[1] He was buried in White River Junction, VT.
He married, 1 Jul 1872, Bristol, VT, Harriet A. Chadwick, daughter of Richard and Rachel (Wheeler) Shadrack.[2]
