Charles J.⁹ Whitney (Charles⁸, Silas⁷, Silas⁶, Daniel⁵, Richard⁴, Richard³, Richard², John¹), born Boston, Massachusetts, 15 May 1843; married there Mary E. Dunbar; died Oct. 27, 1874; married 2d, 12 Sep 1885, Helen E. Fuller, born 7 Oct 1858. She resided 1 Waterford St., Boston. He was foreman of the Vienna Pressed Yeast County. He died 22 Jun 1893; resided Boston, Massachusetts, 8 Codman Park, Roxbury.

i.	Charles H.10 Whitney, born Dec 1866; resided at home.
ii.	Edith L. Whitney, born Mar. 1871; resided at home.
