Family:Whitney, Charles P. (1861-?)

Charles P.⁹ Whitney (Charles⁷, Jonas⁶, Jonas⁵, David⁴, Benjamin³, John², John¹), son of Charles Orlando⁸ and Mary C. (Gordon) Whitney, was born 6 Sep 1861.

He married, 27 Jun 1888, Armintia Stewart. She was born 18 Apr 1867.

He is an engineer, and it is said has a pair of eye glasses in his possession which were worn by John Whitney in 1635; resided So. Superior, WI.

He was listed as a Hotel Keeper in the 1900 & 1910 census records.

i.	Mable10 Whitney, b. 12 Jan 1890. Living, but not residing with the family in 1910.
ii.	Myrtle M. Whitney, b. Sep 1894. Unmarried as of 1920, not residing with parents in 1930.
