Colin Campbell8 Whitney (Edward Rogers7, Ebenezer6, Ebenezer5, Samuel4, John3, Benjamin2, John1), son of Edward Rogers7 and Mary Jane (Harris) Whitney, was born b. 29 Aug 1872, Whitney, NB, and died 30 Dec 1917, Whitneyville, NB, aged 45 years.

He married, 10 Sep 1902, Whitneyville, NB, Olive Lenore Mutch, daughter of Samuel Robert and Margaret (Gikie) Mutch. She was born about 1883, Whitney, NB, and died 14 Nov 1956, Moncton, NB. She married secondly, 20 Sep 1932, Moncton, NB, Charles Gordon Watts.

In 1899, Colin inherited the homestead in Whitney.
