Damaris5 Whitney (Jason4, Moses3, Richard2, John1), daughter of Jason4 and Arabella (-----) Whitney,[1] was born 29 May 1737, Grafton, MA.[2]

Marriage intentions were published 20 Mar 1773, Weston, MA, for her "of Stow" and Joseph Garfield "of Weston".[3] She married, 20 Mar 1773, Stow, MA, Joseph Garfield,[4] son of Joseph and Abigail (Fuller) Garfield, as his third wife. He was born circa 1722, Weston, MA, and died 2 Aug 1784. He had married firstly, 19 May 1748, Weston, MA, Jemima Stratton "of Waltham". Marriage banns for him and his second wife Mrs. Sarah Cooper were published 17 Feb 1763, Weston, MA.

Children of Joseph and Damaris5 (Whitney) Garfield, both born Weston, MA:

i. Cooper Garfield, b. 9 Jun 1775.
i. Damaris Garfield, b. 7 May 1780.
