Daniel J. Whitney (Nicholas F., Josiah), son of Nicholas F. and Catharine Marie (Parks) Whitney, was born 22 Jan 1833, Canajoharie, NY, and died 4 Nov 1912, Glenville, NY.[1]

He married, 3 Sep 1857, Adeline Tiffany,[2] daughter of ----- and Sarah A. (-----) Tiffany. She was born 24 Apr 1842, Duanesburg, Schoharie Co., NY, and died 6 Apr 1921, Charlton, Saratoga Co., New York.[3]
