David Eli⁹ Whitney (David J.⁸, Eli⁷, Enoch⁶, Moses⁵, Nathaniel⁴, Nathaniel³, Benjamin², John¹), son of David J.⁸ and Celia Bridget (Trainer) Whitney, was born 19 Nov 1856, Boston, MA,^[1] and died 6 Jan 1939, Baldwinville, MA.

He married 9 Dec 1882, Stow, ME, Lorana M. Smith. She was born 30 May 1861, Stoneham, MA, and died 30 Mar 1945, Gardner, MA.

In 1896 he was a teamster living at 35 Lawrence St., Boston, MA.
