Edward Alvin7 Whitney (William6, Jared5, John4, Richard, John2, Henry1), son of William and Eveline (Cogswell) Whitney, was born 02 Jan 1849, Irvington, Essex, New Jersey, and died after 1880.

He married 10 May 1871, First Methodist Protestant Church Newark, Essex, New Jersey, Alice Hathaway, daughter of Thomas and Esther Angeline (Baker) Hathaway. She was born 10 Nov 1850, Brooklyn, Kings, New York, and died after 1880.


Child of Edward Alvin7 and Alice (Hathaway) Whitney:

i. Eva8 Whitney, b. 10 May 1873, 27 Pacific Street Newark, Essex, New Jersey; d. Aft. 1941; m.(1) Alfred A Baker; m.(2) George Langsdorf Weitz.
