Eli B.8 Whitney (Henry7, Abel6, Benjamin5, Joseph4, Joseph3, Jonathan2, John1), son of Henry7 and Fanny (Bannister) Whitney, was born 23 Aug 1837, Tunbridge, VT, and died 28 May 1885, Stockbridge, VT, aged 47 years 9 months 4 days, of consumption.
He married, 1 Jan 1862, Stockbridge, VT, Almina Elmira Tenney, daughter of James Manning and Perlina (McAllister) Tenney.[1] She was born 21 Sept 1841, Stockbridge, VT, and died 30 Apr 1922, Rochester, VT. She married secondly, 24 Nov 1897, Rochester, VT, Nelson Kirby.
Both are buried in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Stockbridge, VT.
Eli B.8 and Almina Elmira (Tenney) Whitney had no children.
