Elisha7 Whitney (Daniel6, Elijah5, Daniel4, John3, John2, John1), son of Daniel6 and Sarah (Gay) Whitney, was born 24 Jun 1786, Warwick, MA,[1] and died 23 Feb 1867, St. Pie, QC.

Marriage intentions were published 28 Oct 1809, Brookline, MA, for him and Abigail Baker Gay "of Dedham".[2] Marriage intentions were published 29 Oct 1809, Dedham, MA, for him "of Boston" and "Mrs." Abigail Baker Gay "of Dedham". He married, 19 Nov 1809, Dedham, MA, Abigail Baker Gay,[3] daughter of Joel and Abigail (Davis) Gay. She was born 28 Jul 1793, Roxbury, MA, and died 19 Nov 1867, Abbotsford, Rouville, QC.
