Family:Whitney, Elizabeth Louise (1912-2001)

Elizabeth Louise¹¹ Whitney (Oakley¹⁰, Lilla E.⁹, Artemas Henry⁸, George Washington⁷, John Smith⁶, Thomas⁵, Thomas⁴, Eleazer³, Thomas², John¹), daughter of Oakley¹⁰ and Vera Mildred (Hilton) Whitney, was born 6 Nov 1912, Athol MA, and died 10 Apr 2001, Fairhope AL.

She married firstly, 1 Jan 1933, Herbert Francis Haley, son of Thomas Francis and Mary Josephine (Fowler) Haley. He was born 20 Jan 1910, Orange MA, and died 13 Mar 1935, Greenfield MA.

Herbert and Elizabeth Haley had one child.

She married secondly, 8 May 1937, Orange MA, Justin Peterkin Waite, son of Coleman Henry and Emma Sophia (Brooks) Waite. He was born 25 Nov 1913, Athol, MA, and died 11 Aug 1987, Dennisport, MA. They had two daughters.

Justin had gone to work for one company as a young man and stayed there his whole career, ending in upper management. They summered at their house on the Cape and wintered either in Florida or near family in Saratoga, CA.

The children of Elizabeth Louise¹¹ Whitney are all living.
