Ernest C. Luton9 Whitney (David C.8, Silas7, Silas6, Samuel5, William4, Nathaniel3, John2, John1), son of David C.8 and Harriett Ann (Shepstone) Whitney, was born 21 Sep 1875, Ashburnham, MA,[1] and died after 1940.

He, "Ernest C.", married, 9 Sep 1899, Fitchburg, MA, Kate E. Burnap, dauhgter of George F. and Harriet (Howard) Burnap.[2] She was born about 1876, Fitchburg, MA, and died after 1940.

In 1904 he was a superintendent living in Gardner, MA.

i. David Burnap10 Whitney, b. 12 Jun 1900, Fitchburg, MA.[3]
