Eva S.10 Whitney (Lilla E.9, Artemas Henry8, George Washington7, John Smith6, Thomas5, Thomas4, Eleazer3, Thomas2, John1), daughter of Lilla E.9 Whitney and Herbert Tolman, was born 3 Mar 1883, Dana MA.

She married firstly, 25 Dec 1900, Athol, MA, Jasper Thompson, son of John and Helen (Jones) Thompson. He was born about 1878, St. Albans, VT.[1]

She married secondly, Albert Walter Hazzard, son of George A. and Mary (Kilpatrick) Hazzard. He was born 13 Feb 1876, New Braintree MA, and died 1931, Lake Co. FL.

She married thirdly, 1913, Arthur Chester Henry, son of Patrick and Mary (-----) Henry, former slaves. He was born 5 Mar 1885, Richmond VA, and died 10 Jun 1990, Athol MA.

Eva's birth record shows her father as Herbert Tolman, born and residing at Petersham, a laborer. No record is know of a marriage between her parents. She moved from Dana to Athol with her mother about 1895. In the 1910, 1920 and 1930 Censuses she is in a household with the same two men. Both are African American. In 1910 she is listed as the wife of one Albert Walter Hazzard. In 1920 she is listed as the wife of the other, Arthur Chester Henry, and they have a child, Kenneth. Nothing further is seen of her in documents.

Children of Arthur Chester and Eva S.10 (Whitney) Henry:

i. Kenneth J. Henry, b. 16 Nov 1917, MA; d. 20 Apr 1981, Boston MA.
