Ezekiel6 Whitney (Ezekiel5, Ezekiel4, Ebenezer3, Richard2, John1), born Plainfield, Connecticut, 15 May 1758; married at Stamford, Nov 17, 1788, Phebe Hoyt, of Stamford. He was in the Revolutionary war and bore the character of an excellent pious man and was beloved, esteemed and respected by all. He died Apr 25, 1835; resided Stamford, Connecticut and Waterford, New York.

Children of Ezekiel6 Whitney:

i. Sarah7 Whitney, born Mar 8, 1783; married at W. 23 May 1801, Daniel Mcgiver; resided W. He d there Feb 23, 1827, ae. 52. She died Mar 7, 1872. He was in the war of 1812.
ii. Ezekiel Hoyt Whitney, born Apr 16, 1788; married Elizabeth Ostrander.
iii. Phebe Whitney, born Mar 19, 1794; died Sept 9, 1795.
iv. Lucy Whitney, born Oct 7, 1797; married Foster King. She died Dec 22, 1868.
v. Abigail Whitney, born Oct 7, 1797; died 30 May 1802.
