Florence Gertrude8 Whitney (James Marshal7, Asaph6, Jonathan5, Benjamin4, Benjamin3, Benjamin2, John1), daughter of James Marshal7 and Mary E. (Huntley) Whitney, was born 19 May 1856, Amboy Center, NY, died 19 May 1856, Chicago, IL, and was buried Lot 39, Sec. 1, Little Rock Township Cemetery, Plano, IL (Illinois death certificate #0016824).[1]

She married, 7 Jun 1880, Plano, IL, John W. Daley. He was born 15 Jul 1853, Syracuse, NY.

They resided 201 Fullerton Ave., Chicago, IL. John was a Chicago Police officer who died on duty at the Lincoln Park guard house of a heart attack and Brights disease.

Florence G. Daley, fond mother of Mrs. Essica Pfeifer, sister of the late James, Williston, Marcus, Fred, Frank, and George Whitney. Member of the North American Union Life Assurance Society, Court Victory. Services Friday, 8 p.m., at chapel, 929 Belmont avenue. Interment Saturday, Plano, Illinois. Plano papers please copy.
