George6 Whitney (Isaiah5, Abraham4, Isaiah3, Thomas2, John1), son of Isaiah5 and Mary (Wheeler) Whitney, was born 16 Dec 1788, Harvard, MA,[1] and died 6 May 1819, Harvard, MA, aged 30 years 1 month 21 days.[2]
He married, 23 Mar 1814, Harvard, MA, Polly Fairbank,[3] daughter of Jabez and Betsey (Houghton) Fairbanks. She was born 16 Sep 1791, Harvard, MA. She married secondly, 19 Mar 1829, Shrewsbury, MA, Oliver Nurse, Jr.[4] He was probably the Oliver Nurse who married 21 May 1840, Westborough, MA, Mrs. Vashti (Wheelock) Willington, and who was born about 1799, MA.

George Washington Whitney, b. 19 Nov 1816, Harvard, MA;[8]; m.(1) Lucy E. Shedd; m.(2) Lydia Buswell. iii. Mary Rebecca Whitney, b. 15 Jul 1818, Harvard, MA;[9] d. 10 Sep 1863, Westborough, MA, aged 44 years 2 months, of consumption.[10] Oliver Nurse was appointed her guardian in 1835.
