George8 Whitney (Josiah7, Josiah6, Josiah5, Richard4, Richard3, Richard2, John1), son of Josiah7 and Sarah (Emes) Whitney, was born 6 Oct 1809, Nelson, NH, or 10 Oct 1809, Packersfield, NH,[1] and died 24 Jun 1868, Keene, NH, aged 58 years 8 months.[2]

Marriage intentions were published 4 Aug 1833, Lynn, MA, for him and Nancy Nimms "of Sullivan, N.H."[3] He married, 12 Sep 1833, Nancy Nims. She was born 21 May 1809, and died 4 Dec 1870, Keene, NH, aged 61 years 6 months.[4]

He resided Keene, NH.
