George Clinton8 Whitney (Phineas7, Reuben6, Phineas5, Isaac4, Nathaniel3, Benjamin2, John1), son of Phineas7 and Melvina Amanda (Bean) Whitney, was born 17 Apr 1850, New Vineyard, ME, and died 13 Apr 1919, Merrimac, MA, aged 68 years 11 months 27 days, of carcinoma cecum, metastases in mesenteric glands.[1]
He married, 21 Jul 1872, Lawrence, MA, Anna P. Burnham, daughter of James P. and Persis (-----) Burnham.[2] She was born about 1850, Andover, MA, and died after 1919.
