George M.9 Whitney (Winfield Scott9, William W.8, Moses7, Moses6, Ephraim5, Moses4, Moses3, Richard2, John1), son of Winfield Scott9 and Emily (Mills) Whitney, was born about Jul 1873, Winterport, ME, and died 26 Mar 1898, Boston, MA, aged 24 years 8 months, drowned.[1]

He married, 14 Jun 1895, Boston, MA, Grace C. Fogg, daughter of Charles L. and A. Florence (-----) Fogg.[2] She was born about 1877, Boston, MA.

He was a railroad fireman, living at 19 Everett St., Boston, MA, and later at 13 Morton St., Somerville, MA.

Children of George M.9 and Grace C. (Fogg) Whitney:

i. Albert B. Whitney, b. 3 Apr 1896, Boston, MA;[3] d. 24 Jul 1896, Boston, MA, aged 3 months 20 days, of marasmus.[4]
ii. Bernice Whitney, b. 3 Sep 1897, Somerville, MA.
