He married, before 1916, Mary Carmen Whitinghill, daughter of C. C. and Corline (Tomce) Whitinghill. She was born 14 May 1898, KY, and died 14 May 1925, Muhlenberg Co., KY. He married, secondly, Lela Mercer.
