She married abt 1850, , William S. Phinney. The Vital Records of Standish, ME contain the record of William's second marriage. The record reveals that his step-father was Abner Whitney and his mother was Annis Phinney. He was born 07 17 1821, Standish, ME, and died 04 20 1899, Standish, ME.
William m. secondly, Laura J. Howe, the daughter of Asa and Susan (Fisher) Howe, and the widow of James Crocker of Machias, ME. She was b. abt. 1843 in Cooper, ME. She had one daughter with James Crocker: Isabella A. Crocker, b. 18 Feb 1860 in Machias, ME; d. 24 Dec 1919 in Portland, ME. William and Laura Phinney had no known children.
William S. Phinney was a farmer in Standish, ME, except for the years the family spent in Somerville, MA, where he was a furniture dealer.
He was also a veteran of the Civil War, when he served as a Sergeant in Co. K of the 25th Maine Infantry. For his service he received a pension from the U.S. Government.
