Henry W. Whitney, ([probably] Francis, Henry), probably the son of Francis and Susan (Nassiah) Whitney, was born circa 1846, West Indies, and died after 1880.
He married Eliza M. -----. She was born circa 1848, NY, and died after 1880.
On 13 Mar 1871, he and his family arrived in New York aboard the Schooner Mattie Holmes, bound from Demerara.[1] It appears that they were from the United States and just visiting Demerara. They had all occupied the "Cabin" while on board.
