Jump to navigationJump to searchHuldah5 Whitney (Eliasaph4, Nathan3, John2, Henry1), daughter of Eliasaph4 and Mary (Bishop) Whitney, was born 8 Mar 1762, Stamford, CT, was baptized 14 Mar 1762, Middlesex, now Darien, CT. and died 1 Oct 1856, St. John, NB, aged 94 years 6 months.
She married, 23 Oct 1790, Josiah Butler. He was born 8 Nov 1761, and died 27 Feb 1814, St. John, NB.
She went with her brother, in 1783, to St John, NB. They settled at St. John, NB. She was a pious and exemplary woman, highly esteemed by all who knew her.

i. William James Butler, b. 22 Sep 1797, St. John, NB; d. 13 Apr 1798, St. John, NB; bur. St. John, NB. ii. William Eliasaph Butler, b. 12 Feb 1799, St. John, NB; d. 23 Jul 1800, St. John, NB; bur. St. John, NB.
