James Evans10 Whitney (Rufus P.9, Washington8, Joshua7, Joshua6, Thomas5, William4, William3, Joshua2, John1), son of Rufus P.9 and Kate (Lewis) Whitney, was born 10 Nov 1857, Conklin, NY, and died 21 May 1891, Binghamton, NY.

He married, Lillian Lavinia Haddock, dau. of Jacob H. and Mary Ann (Watson) Haddock. She was born Aug 1862, Portsmouth, NH. She married secondly, 9 Jun 1894, Boston, MA, Alvin Fuller Hill, son of Eben B. and Susan Hartwell (Fuller) Hill. He was born about 1850, Summit, NJ.[1]
