James Harvey8 Whitney (James7, Josiah6, Josiah5, Richard4, Richard3, Richard2, John1), son of James7 and Anna (Goss) Whitney, was born 16 Sep 1829, Peterborough, NH, and died after 1880.
He married, 1 Mar 1853, Mary Jane Smith, daughter of Samuel and Sally (Johnson) Smith. She was born about 6 Apr 1833, Barton, VT, and died 11 Feb 1908, Boston, MA, aged 75 years 10 months 5 days, of cerebral hemorrhage.[1]
He resided Peterborough and Nashua, NH, and Norwich, CT.
