Jason4 Whitney (Moses3, Richard2, John1), son of Moses3 and Sarah (Knight) Whitney,[1] was born circa 1704 (calculated from age at death),[2] and died 19 Feb 1785, Stow, MA, in 81st year.[3]

Jason married, before 1728, Arabella [?Bowker?].[4] She was born about 1703,[5] and died on 25 Sep 1785 (or 28 Sep 1785), Stow, MA, in 82nd year.[6] She was also recorded as Arabetha.

She may be the same as Arabelah Bowker, daughter of Edman and Sarah (Parmenter) Bowker, born 6 Mar 1701[/2], Sudbury, Middlesex County, MA.[7]

Pierce says the following:[8]

Jason WHITNEY was one of the committee of four to seat the meeting house in Grafton Nov. 15, 1738. He served in the Revolutionary army in the company from Stow under Capt. WHITCOMB.

vi. Eunice Whitney, b. 5 Aug 1739, Grafton, MA;[14] bapt. 19 Aug 1739, Grafton, MA;[15] m. David Thurston.
vii. Sarah Whitney, b. 8 Jun 1741, Grafton, MA (also recorded 8 Jun 1743, Stow, MA).[16]
viii. Aaron Whitney, bapt. 8 May 1743, Grafton, MA;[17] m. Hannah Wait.
