Jason5 Whitney (Jason4, Mark3, Benjamin2, John1), son of Jason4 and Lois (Fisher) Whitney, was born 20 Oct 1780, Natick, MA,[1] and died 25 Jul 1844, Natick, MA, aged 65 years; married; consumption.[2]

Marriage intentions were published 12 Sep 1801, Natick, MA, for him "Jr." and his first wife Hannah Goodenow,[3] daughter of William and Phebe (Mann) Goodenow. She born 8 Jun 1783, Natick, MA, and died 27 Dec 1810, Dedham, MA. In the Dedham VR, she is shown as dying 27 Dec 1810 at age 28 of "tiphus fever".[4] Died shortly after the birth of her last child, Nancy Goodenow Whitney, b. 26 Nov 1810, also at Dedham. Probably was having a very difficult pregnancy and returned to her parents home for extra care leading up to the birth of this child, and died a month later.

He married secondly, after 27 Dec 1810, Margaret Green.
