Job6 Whitney (Samuel6, Benjamin5, Daniel4, Henry3, John2, Henry1), son of Samuel6 and Hannah (Carpenter) Whitney, was born 16 Jun 1805, Romulus, NY, and died after Mar 1875 and before 1880.

He married, 31 Jan 1832, Knowlesville, in Ridgeway, NY, Caroline Porter, daughter of Asa and Hannah (Hall) Porter. She was born 5 Oct 1808, Franklin County, NY, and died 26 Feb 1848, Wyoming, MI.

He married secondly, 11 May 1848, Courtland, MI, Catherine Mary Kellogg, of Sheffield, MA, daughter of "Donney" and Aura (Curtis) Kellogg. She was born 2 Dec 1808, and died after 1880.

Phoenix says the following:

". . . a farmer . . . . He lived in Knowlesville and Shelby, N.Y., from 1827 to 1847; and then moved to Wyoming, Mich. . . . . They were living in Byron, Mich., in March 1875. He was supervisor of Wyoming in 1860 and 1863."
