Joel7 Whitney (Jonathan6, Caleb5, Jonathan4, Richard3, Richard2, John1), son of Jonathan6 and Lucy (Wheeler) Whitney, was born 2 Jun 1806, Sterling, MA,[1] and died 1 Nov 1871, Fitchburg, MA, aged 65 years 5 months, of paralysis, married, farmer.[2]

He married, Seraph Warren Sawyer, daughter of James and Seraph (Baldwin) Sawyer. She was born 1 Dec 1815, or about 9 Dec 1816, Templeton, MA, and died 2 Mar 1894, Fitchburg, MA, aged 77 years 2 months 23 days, of Bright's disease, resided Baldwinville, housewife.[3]

He resided Sterling, MA.
