John Marble8 Whitney (Daniel7, Daniel6, Daniel5, Richard4, Richard3, Richard2, John1), son of Daniel7 and Sarah (Marble) Whitney, was born 6 Nov 1822, Stow, MA,[1] and died 10 Mar 1908, Maynard, MA, aged 85 years 4 months, of senile dementia and general debility.[2]

He married firstly, 30 Mar 1847, Stow, MA, Elizabeth G. Walcott, daughter of Joel Walcott.[3] She was born about 15 Mar 1825, Stow, MA, and died 9 Feb 1849, Stow, MA, aged 23 years 10 months 24 days.[4]

He married secondly, 14 Mar 1850, Concord, MA, Hannah C. Whitmarsh,[5] daughter of Charles and Rhoda (-----) Whitmarsh. She was born 16 Jun 1818, and died 13 Mar 1887, Maynard, MA, aged 68 years 8 months 27 days, of heart disease.[6]

He resided Maynard, MA.
