Joseph S. Whitney ([prob.] David), probably the son of David and ----- (-----) Whitney, was born 1788, NY, and died 1868, Owego, NY.[1]

He married say 1813, NY, Cynthia E. Hills, parentage unknown. She was born 1791, NY, and died 1853, Owego, NY.[2]
