Jotham Sewell7 Whitney (Reuben6, Joel5, Abel4, Nathaniel3, Benjamin2, John1), son of Reuben6 and Hannah (Stetson) Whitney, was born 28 May 1803, Chandler's River (Jonesboro), ME, and died 1887.

He married Huldah Ann Dorman Wakefield, daughter of Benjamin and Mary "Polly" (Dorman) Wakefield of Steuben, ME. She was born 3 Apr 1819, Steuben, ME, and died 14 Apr 1849, Steuben, ME.

Children of Jotham Sewell7 and Huldah Ann Dorman (Wakefield) Whitney:

i. Wakefield8 Whitney, b. ca. 1838, ME; d. after 1880, then unmarried.
ii. Hannah Longfellow Whitney, b. 1845; d. 1888; m. 17 Mar 1872, Jonesboro, ME, Charles Whitney Feeney (or Finney); resided Midland, MI, in 1880.
