Lorenzo Peabody⁹ Whitney (Thomas Peabody⁸, Zimri⁷, John⁶, Zachariah⁵, John⁴, Joseph³, John², John¹), son of Thomas Peabody⁸ and Harriet Augusta (Benjamin) Whitney, was born 21 May 1841, Charlestown, MA, and died after 1900.

He married, 18 Oct 1866, Lynn or Nahant, MA, Elizabeth Jane Foxwell, daughter of Thomas and Jane (-----) Foxwell.^[1] She was born 7 Aug 1843, Rochester, NY, and died after 1900.

He is a salesman and cashier; resided Somerville, MA, 46 1/2 Florence St., also 21 Florence St.

iv.	Bessie May Whitney, b. 11 Apr 1875.
