Luther Francis⁸ Whitney (Luther Thomas⁷, John⁶, William⁵, Richard⁴, Henry³, John², Henry¹), son of Luther Thomas⁷ and Susan Romelia (Wright) Whitney, was born Aug 1850, Burnett, WI, and died 27 Jan 1928, Savage, MT. He was buried in Sunset Hills Cemetery, Bozeman, MT.^[1]

He married, 24 or 21 Oct 1877, Farmington, WI, Olive Emily Tucker, daughter of Alexander and Eunice (Workman) Tucker. She was born Mar 1857, NS, and died 23 Sep 1935, Bozeman, MT. She was buried in Sunset Hill Cemetery, Bozeman, MT.^[2]
