Mary5 Whitney (Abraham4, Moses3, Richard2, John1), daughter of Abraham4 and Mary (Stone) Whitney, was born 28 Oct 1729, Stow, MA,[1] and died 18 May 1797, Marlborough, MA, aged 67 years.[2]
Marriage intentions for her and Silas Jewell were published 22 Nov 1748, Stow, MA.[3] He was son of John and Eunice (-----) Jewell, was born 4 May 1726, Stow, MA, and died 20 May 1803, Marlborough, MA, aged 77 years.[4]
Pierce says the following:[5]

FURBUSH; Lucy, b. -----; m. WHITCOMB; Eunice, b. Nov. 28, 1754; m. Ephraim MAYNARD; Ch.: Levi, Mary, Ephraim, Lydia, Luther, Calvin, Abigail, Levica, and Eunice. Mary, b. -----; m. Abner DANTON. Ch.: Susannah, Betsey, William, Hollis, and others. Silas C., b. Sept. 9, 1751; d. Feb. 27, 1837.

Lucy Jewell, b. circa 1750; m. ----- Whitcomb. iii. Silas C. Jewell, b. 9 Sep 1751; d. 27 Feb 1837, Marlborough, MA; m. 1 Sep 1774, Weston, MA, Abigail Garfield. He was mentioned by name in his grandfather's will of May 1768. iv. Eunice Jewell, b. 28 Nov 1754; m. 14 Sep 1773, Marlborough, MA, Ephriam Maynard. v. Mary Jewell, b. 22 Aug 1757; m. 11 Sep 1777, Marlborough, MA, Abner Danton. vi. Ephraim Jewell, b. 19 Aug 1760; m. 27 Feb 1781, Rebecca Brigham; d. 13 Jul 1845, Kirkland, OH. vii.
