Micah5 Whitney (Jason4, Moses3, Richard2, John1), son of Jason4 and Arabella (-----) Whitney,[1] was born 8 Nov 1730, Sudbury, MA,[2] or 9 Nov 1730, Grafton, MA,[3] and died Aug 1813, Rutland, VT.
He "of Narragansett No. 6" married firstly, 22 Feb 1759, Leicester, MA, Hannah Harwood,[4] daughter of Nathaniel and Hannah (Taylor) Harwood. She was born 1 Apr 1732, Lunenburg, MA, and died 4 Oct 1763, Templeton, MA, aged 30 years.[5]
He "of Leicester" married secondly, 26 Jul 1764, Leicester, MA,[6] (but 16 Apr 1755, Leicester, MA,[7]) Millicent (-----) Maynard "of Sudbury". She was born say 1729. She had married firstly, about 1750, Joseph Maynard.
Mille, wife of Micah Whitney, was admitted to the church, 3 Apr 1768, Willington Congregational Church, Willington, CT.[8]
He was living in Rutland, VT, in 1787 and 1790.
Child of Micah5 and Hannah (Harwood) Whitney:
i. (poss.) Nathaniel6 Whitney, b. ca. 1760; m. Eunice Bowker. ii. Eliphalet Whitney, bapt. 4 Jul 1762, Templeton, MA.[9]
Micah5 and Millicent (-----)(Maynard) Whitney had no children.
Notes
Placement of Nathaniel as a son in this family relies on a public tree at Ancestry.com, but it is a reasonable conclusion.
