Robert Whitney, Gent., parentage unknown (but probably the man of that name, son of Hugh Whitney of Coole who d. 1697), died after he wrote his will "of Cool", 3 Feb 1726 and before it was probated 19 Mar 1729.
He married Dorothy -----. She died after 23 Mar 1749/50 when she resided Wrenbury, Cheshire, England.
Children of Robert and possibly Dorothy (-----) Whitney (order uncertain):
i. Hugh Whitney, d. bef. 23 Mar 1749/1750. He was apparently the Hugh Whitney who sold the manor in 1744. ii. Katherine Whitney, b. aft. 1705. iii. Robert Whitney, b. aft. 1705. iv. Anne Whitney, b. aft. 1705. v. Thomas Whitney, b. aft. 1705. vi. Margaret Whitney, b. aft. 1705. vii. Peter Whitney, b. aft. 1705. viii. Mary Whitney, b. aft. 1705. ix.
