Robert Sinclair⁷ Whitney (Peter⁷, Samuel⁶, Ebenezer⁵, Samuel⁴, John³, Benjamin², John¹), son of Peter⁷ and Jessie (Sinclair) Whitney, was born 7 Mar 1854, Whitneyville, NB, and died 6 Oct 1914, Duckabush, WA.

He married, 26 Jul 1883, Annie Eliza Clements. She was born 1863, East Machias, ME, and died 1921.

Robert Sinclair Whitney lived at Hadlock, Jefferson Co., WA. He came to Seabeck, WA, in 1878 and worked in the logging industry for Washington Mill Co. He worked for 30 years as a log buyer. In 1907 he went into logging for himself.
