He married, 1880, Peterborough, Northamptonshire, Sarah Elizabeth Lightfoot, daughter of John and Hannah (-----) Lightfoot. She was born 1858, Great Raveley, Huntingdonshire, and died 1919, Oundle, Northamptonshire.
