Samuel Newell7 Whitney (Isaac L.6, Isaac5, Isaac4, Nathaniel3, Benjamin2, John1), son of Isaac L.6 and Margaret C. (Leach) Whitney, was born 29 Apr 1823, Raymond, ME,[1] and died after 1880.

He married, 26 Apr 1846, Boston, MA, Abigail L. Hoyt,[2] daughter of Ezra and Susannah (Weeks) Hoyt. She was born about 1820, and died Dec 1869, St. Anthony, MN, aged 51 years of an abdominal tumor.[3]
