Solomon5 Whitney (Benjamin4, Thomas3, Thomas2, John1), son of Benjamin4 and Sarah (Barrett) Whitney, was born 20 Dec 1721, Marlborough, MA,[1] and died 1758.[2].

Solomon married, 5 Oct 1749, Marlborough, MA, Elizabeth Smith,[3] apparently daughter of Jonathan and Sarah (Curtis) Smith. She was baptized "Sarah" 10 Apr 1726, Marlborough, MA, and died probably after 1791, when her second husband and family are enumerated in Guilford, VT. Marriage intentions were published 24 Jul 1760, Westborough, MA, for her "of Marlborough" and Ithamar Goodenow.[4] She married secondly (as "Sarah"), 18 Sep 1760, Marlborough, MA, Ithamar Goodenow,[5] as his second wife.

Jesse Taylor of Marlborough, Guardian, 20 Dec 1737, of Solomon Whitney of Boston.[6]

His death is not in Petersham Vital Records, but he supposedly died in 1758 and his last child was born in Petersham in 1757.
