Stephen7 Whitney (Timothy6, Moses5, Timothy4, John3, John2, John1), son of Timothy6 and Mary (Hyde) Whitney, was born about 25 Jul 1778, Newton, MA, and died 10 Jan 1856, Lowell, MA, aged 77 years 5 months, 16 days, of inflammation of the lungs.[1]
He married firstly, 15 May 1803, Roxbury, MA, Ruth Whittemore,[2] daughter of Michael and Rebecca (Nightingale) Whittemore. She was born 4 Jun 1786, West Roxbury, MA.
Marriage intentions were published 22 May 1831, Newton, MA, for him "of Roxbury" and Catharine Winch,[3] daughter of Ebenezer and Esther (Brintly) Winch. She was born 19 Feb 1782, Framingham, MA, and died 4 Sep 1854, Newton, MA, aged 60 years, of inflammation of bowel.[4]
He resided West Roxbury, MA.
