Stover6 Whitney (Benjamin5, Benjamin4, John3, Benjamin2, John1), son of Benjamin5 and Mary (Varnum) Whitney, was born 13 Jan 1809, Bowdoin, ME,[1] or 18 Jan 1809, Brunswick, ME,[2] or 10 Jan 1810, Bowdoin, ME,[3] and died after 1867 and apparently before 1870.

He married, Susan Trufant, daughter of Samuel and Eunice (Adams) Trufant. She was born 5 Apr 1820, Bowdoin, ME,[4] and died 9 Feb 1895, Malden, MA, aged 74 years 10 months 4 days, of asthma and heart disease.[5]

He is listed in the Bath, ME, city directory for 1867.
