Sumner Allen8 Whitney (John7, John6, Nathan5, David4, Benjamin3, John2, John1), son of John7 and Lydia (Allen) Whitney; born 27 Jun 1824, Westminster, MA,[1] and died 29 Aug 1861, Worcester, MA.

He married firstly, 5 Jan 1848, Worcester, MA, Sarah L. Chapin.[2]
